Can you help me with more than one item or a full room?
Yes — when the overall direction is already set.
Many members use I Know The Designer to review and decide on multiple items across one or more rooms (eg. living, dining, bedrooms), provided:
→ the layout and concept already exist
→ decisions are being made piece-by-piece
→ the goal is specification and sourcing, not design development

Do you offer custom or made-to-order furniture?
Yes — where retail options don’t work we can specify and source:
→ custom or made-to-order furniture
→ expanded sizing, finishes and materials
→ designer-only or trade-restricted ranges
However, custom sourcing requires clear requirements.
We do not use requests to discover what something should be.
Are you a replacement for a full interior designer?
No — by design.
I Know The Designer is intentionally bounded. We do not provide:
→ spatial planning or layouts
→ concept design or moodboards
→ ongoing collaboration or revisions
→ full-scope project management
If you need those things, full-scope design is the right solution.
What if my request needs full-scope design?
We’ll tell you — early.
If your request reveals unresolved layouts, concepts, or architectural decisions, we’ll advise that I Know The Designer isn’t the right tool, and where appropriate, refer you to one of our interior designers for a consultation and full-scope proposal.
